Shanta Watkins
Board Administrator
Shanta Watkins serves as the Board Administrator for the Centralina Economic Development District (CEDD) and the Centralina Workforce Development Board. She joined Centralina in 2024 as the Workforce Development Board Administrator and has since expanded her role to support both boards with governance coordination, member engagement and compliance. In addition to her board responsibilities, Shanta contributes to several projects within Centralina’s Strategic Engagement and Technical Services (SETS) department, including the Aviation Academy, Centralina Learns and regional local government engagement efforts. She is known for her strong organizational skills, responsiveness and ability to manage complex logistics across multiple programs and stakeholder groups.
