The Centralina Economic Development District Board held its July meeting at The Pearl in Charlotte, bringing members together for a brief business meeting followed by an engaging tour of the facility.
Following the meeting, board members had the opportunity to learn more about The Pearl and its role in supporting innovation, economic development and regional growth. The tour was provided by Shahid “Sha” Rana, Director of Economic Development with the City of Charlotte, who shared insights about the development, its purpose and the broader impact it is expected to have on the Charlotte region.
The visit offered board members a firsthand look at a major regional asset and highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between local governments, economic development partners and institutions working to strengthen the Centralina region’s economy.
